About me · she/her
Hiiiiii, I'm Tulika Viegas, a Bangalore-based artist creating original paintings, custom portraits, pet portraits, family portraits, mini artworks, wood-slice paintings, and handmade gifts.
I work mostly with acrylics on canvas, wood, and small surfaces, bringing personal references and little stories to life by hand.
Tiny things, soft corners
When I'm not painting, I'm usually around plants, cats, coffee, music, tiny snacks, and little things that make life feel softer. A lot of that warmth finds its way into my art too.

Art school eyes
Studying art taught me to slow down and notice details - light, expression, colour, texture, and the quiet emotion inside an image. That way of looking is something I try to carry into every painting I make.

Custom work
Many of my commissions begin with a photo someone loves - a pet, a person, a family moment, or a memory they want to keep close. I turn those references into handmade pieces that feel personal, warm, and gift-worthy.
If you are looking for a hand-painted pet portrait or a custom portrait commission, the first step is usually just sharing the photo and the story behind it.

Studio companion
This is Muffin - my pet, tiny studio companion, and one of my favourite subjects to paint. She has found her way into my art more than once, and painting her has made me love capturing animals even more: their expressions, moods, and little personalities.
That same love goes into the pet portraits I make for other people, whether it's a canvas, wood slice, mini artwork, or handmade gift.

Commission process
Every custom piece starts with a reference photo and a few details: size, medium, number of faces, background preference, deadline, and delivery city. From there, I plan the piece and slowly bring it to life by hand.
Send your reference photo, preferred size, medium, number of faces or characters, background preference, deadline, and delivery city.
Tulika reviews the reference and requirements, recommends the best format, and shares a detailed quote.
A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms the commission slot.
The artwork is painted by hand. Timelines depend on size, detail, and current workload.
Once the artwork is complete, the remaining payment is due. Shipping and framing are quoted separately when needed.
Out in the world
I also love taking my work into real spaces - creator booths, art events, and places where people can see the colours, textures, and tiny details up close.

Share your reference, size, deadline, and delivery city, and I'll help you figure out what format would work best.
